Keeping TMs synced while traveling

How are you keeping TMs and termbases in sync across devices when bouncing between countries? I work daily in EN‑ES‑FR‑DE (with some PT) and often translate on trains and in cafés — from Lisbon to Tokyo — using memoQ with Dropbox and Xbench, but after a versioning conflict on a 7‑hour ride last week, I’m looking for a more travel‑proof setup that lets the multilingual life be a benefit, not a headache.

I ditched Dropbox for TMs and moved to memoQ Cloud online projects; memoQ syncs TMs/termbases per segment and caches locally when offline, so no file-level conflicts on trains. Small caveat: it’s a paid add-on and you’ll want to toggle “Work Offline” when the connection hiccups, but it’s been rock-solid for me. Would you consider trying it? https://www.memoq.com/products/memoq-cloud.

I stopped syncing live TM files: I set the master TM/termbase to read-only in projects and attach a small “travel” TM to capture new segments; when I’m on stable Wi‑Fi I export that delta to TMX and import it into the master on my desktop — no file conflicts, just one extra merge step… @amy58’s route is slick, but if you’re offline a lot this keeps things safer; would that fit your EN‑ES‑FR‑DE setup?
