I’ve landed more remote interpretation gigs by attaching a 45-second voice sample to the application, and “apply promptly” really does help. Small caveat: some portals auto-flag duplicates, so tweak the cover note each time to avoid filters.

Quick tip: I get more callbacks by opening with a one-line micro‑profile tailored to the post, e.g., “EN>ES interpreter | healthcare/legal | Zoom RSI + Trados | available today 14:00–20:00 CET.” Think of it as a translator’s elevator pitch. Small caveat: many roles want rates upfront, so include clear OPI/VRI hourly and a minimum call charge to avoid back‑and‑forth.
